Calories have a very bad reputation – just the sound of a high-calorie meal actually freaks most people out! To be honest, they should not be feared, because your body needs them to manage your weight, give your energy a boost, and even burn flabby fat stuck in the most annoying parts.

But for skinny people who do everything to gain more, but can’t seem to, foods high in calories, fats or carbs are their go-meals. This should not be the case, though, because at some point your body will suffer from them, especially when you tend to consume more of the unhealthy sources of calories.

Broser said that you have to eat at least 6 high calorie meals per day. He also emphasized that it should be clean meals, which means you have to get them from the right sources such as whole grains and potatoes.

Be sure, though, that you always choose the right foods, and that you burn them with an equal amount of physical activities.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT eat more sugary and processed foods, while desperately thinking they will make you gain weight. They may make you gain weight, but they also come with different diseases and illnesses like type 2 diabetes and several types of cancers.
