Chuck Norris Calls Out Monsanto for Glyphosate Usage

Our dear Chuck Norris calls out Monsanto for using glyphosate in its Roundup products.

Why? Well, glyphosate is used to kill weeds that compete with crops, but it has been shown to cause cancers in humans.

According to Dr. Mercola, it also increases risk of chronic diseases and conditions like autism, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, depression, obesity, allergies, cardiovascular diseases, infertility, multiple sclerosis, and gastrointestinal diseases like inflammatory bowel disease, chronic diarrhea, colitis and Crohn’s disease. A few studies have also shown that it causes a decline in the behaviour of bees and butterflies.

Chuck Norris calls out Monsanto for its use of glyphosate in its products, and hopefully other people, not just celebrities, will follow the leads of TV personalities fighting for a better health (fact: just this week TV Chef Jamie Oliver fought for sugar tax).

So, how are you going to avoid glyphosate? There’s actually no way to know if the product has been exposed to it, but the safest thing to do is to buy produce that is “100% organic” or has the “Non-GMO project verified” seal.
