Genes Longer, Healthier Life Found by Scientists

Just yesterday, the world was buzzed with a news about how the world’s first anti-aging drug could work, making anyone who regularly drinks it live beyond 100 years old. It will work by making you biologically healthy, about 20 years younger than your real age. Sounds like a real science fiction, right?

Now another group of researchers from ETH Zurich, an engineering, science, technology, mathematics and management university in Switzerland, promotes genes longer, healthier life. Read more in this report on Science Daily:

As said in a statement, “the point is not for people to grow even older, but rather to stay healthy for longer.” Okay, so promoting genes longer, healthier life is indeed possible. I guess it’s not that much of a science fiction after all.

Then again, if you really want to live longer, you just have to transition to a healthier lifestyle. Start by cutting off junk foods out of your diet, and filling your plate with more vegetables and fruits. Increasing your daily activities is also important. Moreover, you have to avoid stress and its causes, as it’s been found to cause chronic illnesses such as cancers and heart diseases.

There are so many ways – even a cup of Joe or spicy foods can add years to your life!
