Although this may seem unbelievable, but plant-based products, whether they’re in the form of whole foods, herbs, spices, oil, etc, can actually work better than most modern drugs. That said, the therapeutic power of ancient medicine is a real thing.
You could say that technology has helped a lot in developing a variety of ways to treat diseases, because there are no surgeries, vaccines and antibiotics back in the day, which is why they have a lower life expectancy. But traditional medicine in the form of plant foods should not be taken for granted. We just never know, maybe they hold the cure for cancer and other diseases that are left unknown.
